Children's Story Hour!

Babies, toddlers, preschoolers (plus parents and caregivers) are invited to Vox Pop to sing and play along with Storyteller Andy Laties at 10:30 AM every Wednesday, all the time!

This is a permanent feature of Vox Pop Cortelyou. If Andy can't make it, we will change it on the Events Calendar.

Andy Laties is the award-winning children's theatre actor, performance artist and bookseller who currently manages the bookshop at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, in Amherst, Massachusetts, where his boss is the author of The Very Hungry Caterpillar! Andy also wrote the book Rebel Bookseller: How To Improvise Your Own Indie Store And Beat Back The Chains which was published by Vox Pop (where he is the books manager, and co-founder).

"We went to the story hour at Vox Pop today and it was wonderful! Andy was so engaging with the kids, who were laughing and jumping and singing along. Most of the kids were about 2, but younger ones and my 5-yr-old enjoyed it too. He had a big collection of great books. We had lunch at Vox Pop and picked up some groceries at the New Frontier Market across the street."
